Circular saws are a great saw for cutting many kinds of materials . Used in most of the construction trades it is an ideal saw to carry around from job to job. Circular saws are ideal if you need to make long cuts in the material you are cutting . The saw holds 185 Millimeter blades and is packed with useful features including a Laser Guide that enables the users to preview the saw blade path prior to cutting. The laser guide uses two AAA batteries which are supplied with the saw when purchased. There is an adjustable depth setting on this circular saw and the base plate has a 0-45 degree bevel cutting facility for simple angle cutting. The circular saw also has an adjustable parallel guide plate to give a straight and accurate cut to the material you are cutting There is a dust extraction facility and the Saw is supplied complete with a tungsten Carbide tip 24 tooth Saw Blade, and approximately 3 metres of cable with plug.

How to Use a Circular Saw

Always follow manufactures instructions before you begin to use a new circular saw

  1. Always make sure you have followed all the safety instructions before you begin to cut the material.
  2. Set up the Circular saw as instructed. This will depend on the kind of material you are cutting
  3. Once set up mark the material to be cut with a pencil or similar marking pen
  4. Place the circular saw on the marked line an align the saw blade with the marked material line
  5. Holding the handle, start the circular cutting machine and push the circular saw along the line of the cut. Make sure that the cut is nice and smooth. If the circular saw blade snags,sticks or does not cut smoothly stop what you are doing and inspect the line of the material. Remember that circular saws cut in straight lines , they are not designed to cut in a curve.
  6. Support each side of the material so that no damage is done to the material once the cut is complete.
  7. Inspect the cut material to ensure the required cut is fine.
